A taste of the sea is coming to Nelson as the ocean-blue historic building at the top of Trafalgar St transforms into a seafood restaurant.
Nelson couple Nick and Kymberly Widley are gearing up for a grand opening of their new seafood restaurant Cod & Lobster Brasserie in the former Smythes building in mid-October.
The couple both have a strong passion for seafood – Kymberly’s family spans four generations of fishermen, and her father was one of the earliest fisherman who started crayfishing in Fiordland.
